Savigno and Surroundings
Savigno is a picturesque and colourful village in the heart of the Bolognese hills, just 30 km from the Emilian capital.
The medieval town centre is characterised by the presence of traditional food shops and historic trattorias, making it a veritable food and wine paradise.
This is the home of fresh pasta, tortellini, lasagna, tagliatelle and a production area for prosciutto, zampone, cotechino and mortadella, as well as Parmesan cheese and balsamic vinegar, Lambrusco and Pignoletto.
In November each year the village hosts the famous Tartófla, an international festival showcasing the exquisite white truffles that grow best in this very valley and its small capital Savigno.

What to visit
We’re deeply in love with Savigno and its surrounding area, because they offer delightful hilly views, dramatic ravines and densely wooded areas where the precious white truffle grows in winter.
This land is constantly surprising with its churches, villages, ancient watermills, traditional trattorias and trails perfect for trekking or gravel / mountain biking.
